Larry’s Autoworks has a long history of protecting the environment dating back to the 1970’s. Our first formal recognition of our efforts came in 1992 when we were awarded the Clean Bay Business Certification which we helped create.
We believe a successful business is dependent on a healthy environment. We are actively working to show our environmental responsibility to our community by committing to the following objectives:
- To comply with all applicable regulations and strive to exceed compliance
- To conserve energy, water, materials, and other resources.
- To develop and implement practices that prevent pollution and waste and work towards sustainability.
- To be an environmentally responsible business with our community.
We are very conscious of the environment in all aspects of our business. Larry's AutoWorks is the only shop to receive the Susanne B. Wilson Environmental Achievement Award for businesses of less than 100 employees in Santa Clara County. We received this award in 1993 for our environmentally sound facility and practices, including creating a Zero Discharge methodology now being used by shops throughout the country. In addition, we have received many other National, State and local environmental awards and certifications, and have been a "Green Business" since the inception of the program in 1992
